Mission
Create a credible, visible and sustainable voice within the health industry, public policy makers, media, business and communities on behalf of Latino health and culture.
Vision
The Latino community will have a proportional share of trained health professionals, will be served by bilingual-bicultural health service providers and will enjoy the same quality of health service as all other population segments. Also, the Latino community will have meaningful access to opportunities in the health care industry that include meaningful participation in governance, employment, philanthropy, procurement and marketing.
Strategy
Develop a strategic coalition of Latino health, community, government and business networks for the purpose of creating an effective and unified health related information vehicle to accomplish the mission and vision of LatinoMed Journal.
Tactic
The LatinoMed Journal will be published quarterly and circulated to the key decision makers and opinion leaders who directly influence health care industry business and policy with a specific focus on states with large Latino populations. Moreover, the LatinoMed Journal will organize events to further its purpose including holding a legislative day in Washington D.C. and key state capitals. |
